I have loved coming in from the cold, winter weather to my festive foyer over the holiday period. I have adorned our stairway with garland, beads, and bells- just as I visualised when we were renovating this space. I also planned for a lot of the “clutter” that comes with the winter months- hats, bulky coats, scarves, mittens, etc. These all needed a spot to go which is why we have our built in Ikea billy bookcase in the hall which features both as a design feature and built in storage.
